Tynemarch was founded in 1983 and has grown to be a leading company providing specialist software and engineering consultancy to the water and environmental management industries. Clients include most of the major water companies, the Environment Agency, as well as many of the large consultants to the industry.
The Chairman, Jeremy Lumbers, and Managing Director, Stephen Cook, were founder members and continue to provide a strong input to the technical and managerial development of the company. The third director and Company Secretary is Robert Warren who joined the board in 1991.
The academic origins of the business stem from Imperial College, London, as an early example of a technology transfer company. Links continue through visiting lectures and project sponsorship; many of our employees are graduates and postgraduates from Imperial.
