Jeremy closed the day by thanking the speakers for their contributions and the delegates for their attendance and lively contributions to the discussion. He noted the widening range of applications of MISER including:
monthly production planning
balancing resource savings versus cost savings
long-term planning for resources and investment
medium term planning to identify how best to overcome works outages (e.g. due to Cryptosporidium)
incorporation of simplified groundwater modelling
on-line sub-daily pump scheduling
The enthusiasm of the User Group in making full use of the extensive functionality to achieve maximum the benefits for their individual Companies was acknowledged as contributing to a partnership of success in the on-going development of MISER.
