MISER-SI functionality is designed to incorporate the latest approaches to supply/demand analysis and is an ideal tool for implementing the UKWIR EBSD methodology. Utilisation of the entire system from resources through to distribution is optimised, including resource-side components such as river flows, impounding reservoirs, abstraction licences and so on - or if required deployable outputs can be entered and used directly in the optimisation. The analysis includes explicit use of inter-zone transfers and enables the system to be managed without the simplification and assumptions that the adoption of resource zones requires.
