SYSTEMS DETAILS & REQUIREMENTS

Servers

PIONEER requires a minimum of one server but is horizontally scalable through the addition of separate servers for the following:

• Database Server
• Application Server
• Calculation Database Server
• Calculation Server
• ASP.NET Server

Calculations in PIONEER are fully optimised for multi-core servers.

SQL Server 2005 SP3 (or later) and IIS 6 (or later) are also required.

Client Machines

Client machines require Microsoft Internet Explorer 6 or 7. The following specifications or higher are recommended:

• 1GHz Pentium 4 CPU
• 256 MB RAM

PIONEER does not install any software on client machines. Client access to PIONEER is entirely browser-based.
