SAM provides complex biosolid application modelling which allows soil determinand concentrations of PTE's and nutrients to be monitored accurately.
SAM offers application advice, which can be used to determine the maximum quantity of biosolid that can be applied to agricultural land without violating legislative and advisory limits. In addition SAM will display any relevant advice relating to the MAFF and DOE Codes of Practice.
Once a biosolid application has been modelled, the user can view the resultant soil determinand concentrations and/or the annual application rates.
To maintain valid data, SAM automatically re-calculates soil conditions for affected applications when changes are made to any biosolid details (eg biosolid quality parameters or sludge source).
