We are the leading consultants in the modelling of household and non-household night use estimates. Our work also extends to the integration with night flows to produce robust night leakage estimates at both the whole company reporting level and at the operational DMA level. In addition to significant experience research experience through UKWIR projects, we have worked directly with many UK water companies to provide models for their operational and regulatory needs.
Tynemarch undertake a wide variety of software systems development projects in the water industry from PC GIS tools to client-server water resource optimisation systems. Within the area of leakage we have undertaken a number of systems reviews to identify the requirements for software support and to integrate these into the corporate framework. Developments have also been undertaken to manage and link the essential data for management of leakage and to present the results using GIS tools and conventional databases.
We have also managed other consultants and contractors on a range of water industry projects. We have provided complete project management services for Socrates household night use surveys from area identification through to contractor selection and results analysis.
Our consultancy services are utilised to produce reports that range from determination of company-specific night use allowances for the June Return to the certifier through to data collection and management strategy reviews. We have assisted water companies with both regulatory returns and economic levels of leakage calculations and have supported clients in their presentations to the certifier.
